Hassan. I have deleted your comments about the sexual orientation of an individual just as I would delete one referring to your sexual orientation. It is not relevant.
Other commentators on this site get deleted if they libel other people or if they are racist or extremely offensive against others who cannot be expected to answer back on this site.
Others who just try and repeat their arguments and bore the pants of everyone else will normally stay on but they really ought to try and see themselves as others see them. (Which is one of the reasons I leave some of them on!) The vast majority of people who read this site are not daft!
Hear, hear !
Hi Clive
I suspect the person who posts under the name Hasan Mohammed is sadly deliberately trying to stir up racial hatred and homophobia. To me it looks very like the work of someone who supports the BNP and who is trying to antagonise; the person using this name is, I suspect, hoping that the reader would draw a negative idea about Muslims from the posts. So don't worry about deleting that, and please don't let it put you off blogging! I think blogging is a fantastic way of democratic representatives communicating with ordinary people. And I include your new incarnation in the House of Lords within the definition! Indeed there is a strong case I think that you need to blog more as a Lord than as an MP! Congratulations on your elevation and I hope we may well see you in a new Labour government on May 6th!
Clive,
Am I annoying you that much? I thought you only remove posts that involve libel. What was your reason for removing the yesterday's post where I asked you yet again to explain your reasons for supporting the desruction of Fallujah, and offered to pay for you to visit the place?
If people are not stupid, and I didn't libel or question anyone's sexuality, why not leave the post where it was?
Instead of removing posts that don't fit your happy little world of Labour spin, why not try answering with some substance. A couple of weeks ago I asked why you were avoiding the mention of Iraq. Your answer was to post a paragraph with the word "Iraq" in the middle of it. Childish and weak beyond words. Now you're resorted to removing posts that mention Iraq. Again Clive, people aren't stupid. You've treated us that way for years, but we're not.
Have you come any closer to seeing yourself as others see you? Try and guess what your selective removals say about you.
Removing posts from your blog will not remove the issue from our minds, and will not stop people pushing for justice. You and your friends must, and will, pay a price for your actions. That's something you simply cannot escape, no matter how handy you are with the 'erase' button. No memory holes here, Clive.
S.
Who will you be voting for tomorrow Someone?
Given that all that stuff about "allowing in the Tories by not voting Labour" is demonstrably a load of bollocks (I think that's the proper statistical term), the primary answer to your question is "Not Labour" and "Not Conservative". The Lib Dems are an unconvincing bunch of opportunists, so even if I vote for them it won't be with any enthusiasm. In the end, I want to make sure that politicians pay some price for their actions, and that no party has so much power that it can steam-roller legislation through the House (no matter how many Yes-Men it appoints to the Lords). Maybe I'll toss a coin.
Tossing a coin needs no though, and one thing I think is true Someone is that you have given politics a lot of thought recently.
Sleep on it, then make a decision yourself.
